Locanda Verde offers it all with its comforting, classic, New York dining experience and constantly happening environment. The bar area is gorgeous and the black booths and finishes give the restaurant a polished look. Even though people are literally overpopulating the place, you can still feel like you are enjoying your dinner in private and hear your company well. The crowd ranges from slick business men to the “ladies who lunch” type to trendy, young New York City diners. It’s uplifting and the attentive and friendly service makes you feel like you’re the only customer. Chef Andrew Carmellini couldn’t have designed a better menu providing lots of small plate options for sharing, and the desserts are ridiculously delicious. The lamb meatball sliders scream with flavor, and the sauce and meat melt straight into the soft, flaky bread. Locande Verde is that TriBeCa gem you will long for again and again because nothing beats a fabulous dining experience where everything is just right!
